UK ETA FEES & PROCESSING

UK ETA Fees & Processing Options

UKETA.sg offers three processing options so that travellers with different timetables can choose the level of service that suits them. Each option is priced per applicant and includes our application assistance service and the applicable ETA charge.

Choose Your Processing Option

Prices are shown per applicant. The processing time describes how quickly UKETA.sg handles your application, not how long the final ETA decision will take.

What the Price Includes

The price shown for your selected processing option includes the applicable ETA charge and our application assistance service. There are no hidden mandatory charges added to that processing option. You choose a processing option, and the price shown for it is the price for that applicant.

Our application assistance service is designed to take the guesswork out of preparing an application. It covers:

  • Help preparing your application, so that you know what information is needed and in what form.
  • A review of the information you provide, where we may flag obvious omissions or inconsistencies before the application is submitted.
  • Submission of the application on your behalf once your details are confirmed.
  • The applicable ETA charge, which is included in the price and not billed to you separately.

Two things the price does not do. It does not make approval certain, because UK immigration authorities decide every ETA application. And it does not cover costs outside our control, such as any charges your own bank or card provider may apply to a payment.

The price is per applicant. Every traveller needs their own ETA, including babies and children, so a group should multiply the price of the chosen option by the number of travellers. If you are still working out who needs an ETA, our guide to UK ETA requirements explains how eligibility works.

Choosing a Processing Option

The right option is mostly a question of how much time you have before you travel. None of the options changes who is eligible for an ETA or how an application is assessed, so choose on timing and convenience.

Standard Processing: $65 per applicant

Standard Processing, with a processing time of 24–72 hours, suits travellers who are planning ahead. If your departure is weeks or months away, there is little reason to pay for faster handling. It is also a sensible choice for families and groups, where the per-applicant price adds up.

Rush Processing: $95 per applicant

Rush Processing, with a processing time of 12–24 hours, suits travellers whose trip is approaching and who want their application handled sooner. A business trip that has just been confirmed, or a holiday booked at fairly short notice, are typical examples.

Super Rush Processing: $150 per applicant

Super Rush Processing, with a processing time of 1–2 hours, is for urgent travel, such as a trip arranged at very short notice. Because speed is the point, have your passport, photo and email address ready before you start, so that your application can be handled promptly.

Whichever option you choose, apply as early as you can. A faster option speeds up our handling of your application. It does not remove the need to allow time for the ETA decision itself.

Processing Time vs the ETA Decision

Two separate steps sit behind every application, and it helps to keep them apart.

Our processing time

This is how quickly UKETA.sg handles your application as part of our application assistance service. It is the time shown on the processing option you select, and it depends on your information being complete and accurate.

The ETA decision

This is made by the relevant UK immigration authorities, who assess each application. Its timing and its outcome are outside our control, and a quicker processing option does not change either.

That is why none of the processing times on this page is a promise about when an ETA decision will be issued, and why none of them is a promise of approval. If you want to understand how long decisions can take and what to do if one is delayed, read our guide on how long a UK ETA takes. You should also remember that an ETA, once granted, does not guarantee entry: border officers decide whether a traveller is admitted.

Before You Apply and Pay

A little preparation avoids most problems, whichever processing option you choose. Check that you have the following before you begin:

  • The passport you will travel with, with its details to hand exactly as they appear in the passport.
  • Accurate personal information for each traveller, matching the passport.
  • The travel and application information requested during the application.
  • A working email address that you can access, because communications about your application are sent there.
  • A clear face photo of each applicant that meets the required photo standards.
  • A payment method for the selected processing option.
  • A separate application for every traveller, including children.

Review every detail carefully before you submit. Our UK ETA requirements page explains each item in more depth, and our FAQs answer common questions about passports, photos and decisions.

Fees, refunds and terms

Please read our Refund Policy and Terms & Conditions before you pay. In summary, fees are non-refundable once payment has been completed, except where a refund is required by applicable law, and genuine billing errors caused by UKETA.sg can be investigated.

UK ETA Fees: Frequently Asked Questions

How much does UKETA.sg charge?

UKETA.sg offers three processing options. Standard Processing is $65 per applicant, Rush Processing is $95 per applicant and Super Rush Processing is $150 per applicant. You choose the option that suits your travel timetable.

What processing options are available?

Standard Processing has a processing time of 24–72 hours, Rush Processing has a processing time of 12–24 hours and Super Rush Processing has a processing time of 1–2 hours. These times describe how quickly UKETA.sg handles your application as part of our application assistance service.

Is the price per applicant?

Yes. Every traveller needs their own UK ETA, including babies and children, so the price for your chosen processing option applies to each applicant separately. A family of four would pay the price four times.

Are there hidden mandatory charges?

No. The price shown for your selected processing option includes the applicable ETA charge and our application assistance service. There are no hidden mandatory charges added to that processing option. Your own bank or card provider may apply its own charges, which we do not control.

What is included in the displayed price?

The displayed price covers the applicable ETA charge and UKETA.sg’s application assistance service, including help preparing your application, a review of the information you provide for obvious omissions or inconsistencies, and submission of the application on your behalf.

Does Rush or Super Rush Processing guarantee ETA approval?

No. A faster processing option changes how quickly UKETA.sg handles your application. It does not make approval more likely, and it cannot guarantee approval. UK immigration authorities make every ETA decision, and an ETA does not guarantee entry to the UK.

Can processing take longer than the time shown?

Our processing times relate to our handling of your application and depend on your information being complete and accurate. If we need further information from you, handling can take longer. The final ETA decision is made by UK immigration authorities, and the time it takes is outside our control.

Which processing option should I choose?

Choose Standard Processing if your travel date is comfortably ahead, Rush Processing if your trip is approaching and you want quicker handling, and Super Rush Processing if you are travelling at short notice. Whichever you choose, apply as early as you can, because the ETA decision is made separately by UK immigration authorities.

Can I get a refund if I change my mind?

Fees are non-refundable once payment has been completed, except where a refund is required by applicable law. Genuine billing errors caused by UKETA.sg can be investigated. Our Refund Policy sets out the details.
