1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the UKETA.sg website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the website. These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy and Cookie Policy.
2. About UK ETA / UKETA.sg
The UKETA.sg website is operated under the name UK ETA. References in these Terms to “we”, “us” or “our” are to UK ETA in its operation of the website and services.

3. Current Information Service
At present, UKETA.sg provides information and guidance about the UK Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA). The website does not currently operate a live application form or checkout, and we do not currently process applications or accept payments through it. Sections of these Terms that refer to applications, fees and payment describe the terms that will apply when the application assistance service becomes available.
4. Future Application Assistance Service
We intend to offer an application assistance service through which customers can submit information for a UK ETA application, and through which applications may be prepared and submitted on a customer’s behalf. The service will be introduced on the website when it is ready, and will be subject to these Terms.
5. Eligibility
You are responsible for determining whether you are eligible for, and required to hold, a UK ETA. Information on the website is general guidance only. You must be of legal age to enter into a contract, or be acting with the authority of a parent or legal guardian where an application is made for a minor.
6. Applicant Responsibility
When the application assistance service is available, you are responsible for the information, documents and instructions you provide, for responding to requests for further information, and for meeting any requirements set by the UK Government for the application and for travel.
7. Accuracy of Information
You must provide information that is complete, accurate and current, and you must review it carefully before an application is submitted. Inaccurate or incomplete information may lead to delay, refusal or problems when travelling. We are not responsible for the consequences of information that you provide incorrectly.
8. Passport Responsibility
A UK ETA is linked to the passport used in the application. You are responsible for using the passport you intend to travel with, for ensuring that it is valid, and for entering its details correctly. A change of passport after an application may require a new application.
9. Application Review / Submission
When the application assistance service is available, we may review application information for obvious omissions or inconsistencies before it is submitted, and we may submit applications to the UK Government on your behalf. Our review is not a guarantee that an application is complete, correct or eligible, and the final responsibility for the content of an application remains with you.
10. Fees and Payment
When the application assistance service is available, the price shown to the customer will include the applicable UK Government ETA fee and UKETA.sg’s service and assistance fee. Payment will be required before an application is submitted. The accepted payment methods and the payment service used will be identified when payment is introduced.
11. Government ETA Fee
The price shown includes the applicable UK Government ETA fee. The UK Government sets that fee and may change it. The amount applicable to your application will be the amount shown to you at the time you pay.
13. Non-Refundable Fees
All fees paid to UKETA.sg are non-refundable once payment has been completed, except where a refund is required by applicable law. Section 14 and our Refund Policy explain how this applies, including how we deal with billing errors.
14. Refund Policy Incorporation
Our Refund Policy forms part of these Terms. If there is any inconsistency between these Terms and the Refund Policy on the subject of refunds, the Refund Policy applies.
15. No Guarantee of ETA Approval
UK immigration authorities make the decision on every UK ETA application. UKETA.sg does not control that decision and cannot guarantee that an application will be approved. An application may be refused even if it has been prepared and submitted carefully.
16. No Guarantee of Entry
A UK ETA is permission to travel to the United Kingdom; it does not guarantee admission. UK border authorities determine whether a person is admitted on arrival, and UKETA.sg cannot guarantee entry to the United Kingdom.
17. Processing Times
Any processing times mentioned on the website are general estimates. Decision times are determined by the UK Government and are outside our full control. We cannot guarantee a particular processing time, and you should allow ample time before you travel.
18. Corrections and Changes
Please review your information before it is submitted. When the application assistance service is available, the options for correcting information after submission will depend on the stage of the application and on the rules of the UK Government, and a correction may require a new application. Fees paid are dealt with in accordance with section 13.
19. Duplicate Applications
You should submit only one application for each traveller and passport. Where you submit a duplicate application, fees for that duplicate are dealt with in accordance with section 13 and our Refund Policy.
20. Intellectual Property
The content, design, logos and materials on the website belong to us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and print them for your personal use but may not copy, republish, modify or exploit them commercially without our written permission.
21. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the website lawfully and not to:
- interfere with, disrupt or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website or its systems;
- use automated means to scrape, overload or abuse the website; or
- use the website in a way that infringes the rights of others or breaches applicable law.
22. Fraudulent / Prohibited Use
You must not provide false or misleading information, use another person’s identity or documents without authority, or use the service for any fraudulent or unlawful purpose. We may refuse or suspend service, and may report suspected unlawful activity to the relevant authorities.
23. Third-Party Services
The website relies on third-party services such as hosting and analytics, and may link to external websites, including official UK Government pages. We do not control third-party services or websites and are not responsible for their content, availability or practices.
24. Availability
We aim to keep the website available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may suspend, change or withdraw any part of the website for maintenance or other reasons.
25. Information Is Not Legal Advice
Information on the website is general in nature and is not legal or immigration advice. Immigration requirements change and depend on individual circumstances. You should check official UK Government guidance or obtain professional advice where you are unsure of your position.
26. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of opportunity, or travel, accommodation or other costs arising from a refused, delayed or unsuccessful application, a refusal of entry, or your reliance on information on the website. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability in connection with the service is limited to the amount you paid to us for the relevant service.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
27. Mandatory Consumer Rights
If you are a consumer, you may have mandatory rights under the laws of the country in which you live. Nothing in these Terms removes or limits those rights where they cannot lawfully be excluded, and these Terms apply only to the extent permitted by those laws.
28. Governing Law
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of Singapore, subject to section 27. This does not affect any mandatory consumer protection rights that apply in your country of residence and that cannot lawfully be excluded.
29. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.
30. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time, including when the application assistance service becomes available. The updated version will be published on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the website after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
